ASAS - Offshore Structural Analysis
Finite Element Software :
|
|
ASAS is an offshore structural finite
element system with integrated modules to address the specific
needs of offshore and marine engineers. ASAS has enormous
capacity to solve large problems covering linear and
non-linear analysis. Special integrated modules enhance ASAS
so that it provides comprehensive solutions to specific
problems: |
|

|
ASAS-OFFSHORE for
the complete assessment of offshore jackets/topsides
and related structures. ASAS(NL) for nonlinear
finite element analysis including coupled
wave-structure interaction.
ASAS-SUPERPACK
for general purpose finite element modelling and
analysis. An integrated results database which
can be accessed by MS-EXCEL© and Mathcad© or user
routines plus a wide range of code checks for beams,
stiffened plates or concrete make ASAS unique.

AQWA - Multi-Body Hydrodynamics
Software :
|
|
AQWA is a suite of integrated modules
which addresses the vast majority of analysis requirements
associated with the hydrodynamic assessment of all types of
structure from spars to FPSOs, from mooring systems to
buoys, from TLPs to semi-submersibles, from fishing vessels
to large ships and from large ships to structure
interaction. |
  |
Modules cover the whole
spectrum of Hydrodynamic analysis including wave
diffraction/radiation (including shallow water
effects) – AQWA-LINE; frequency domain with
random waves – AQWA-FER; time domain with random
waves including slow drift – AQWA-DRIFT;
non-linear time domain with large waves –
AQWA-NAUT; static and dynamic stability including
mooring lines – AQWA-LIBRIUM. The time and
frequency domain modules can also include coupled
cable dynamics. Finally all the modules are
integrated with a powerful pre-post processor the
AQWA-Graphical Supervisor.
|
AQWA is able to cope with up to 50
interconnected structures and takes account of hydrodynamic
interaction. AQWA is also available as a complete
hydrodynamic and structural analysis system for floating
structures, AQWA-OFFSHORE, combining AQWA with ASAS plus
meshing and results display.
