The
animations listed below were created in ASAS.
Jacket Stability
A typical requirement is to
perform ‘on-bottom stability’ calculations of jackets prior to
piling. This animation simulates the full wave-current-structure
coupling subject to large waves as performed by ASAS(NL).
Mobile Offshore Base (MOB)
A number of concepts have been proposed for mobile offshore
bases. The animation shows one such concept as analyzed by
ASAS(NL) with coupled wave action. Non-linear dampers are
represented in the model. Both regular and irregular waves can
be included.
